Been in the H.E. industry since '73. During that time tho I did a 4 year hitch in the USAF, then 2 years of college. I also did 4 years in the technical field of craning, as an accident investigator, crane inspector and operator instructor. The rest was all in the seat as a full time operator, mostly for Crane Rental Corporation, where I am still employed, and the other years were with other rental firms and general contractors on long term projects.
