    Thank you Mark250, I couldn't get the cover off because the boom was in the way so I was able to reach up to the primer from underneath the machine. I cracked the centre plug on top of the filter housing and that worked. It started and is now running with fresh winter diesel and a little howes...

    I will try that. thank you. Does anyone have any photos or schematics of the fuel system that I can look at to identify each part. I did crack an injector line, and turned it over and didn't get any fuel spurting out. Although i'm by myself.
