    Cat overcharging

12 or 24V? get the voltage measurement at the batteries before you start, then at the alternator with the key on, engine off. Then at the alternator with engine on. All the terminals on the alternator. If it's 24V, get each battery's voltage also.

Arc welder to loosen a link pin, without removal ?

I like to pump oil into bushings like that, ATF is thin and easy to find. Use a grease gun with the plunger removed and held upright to not spill the oil. The mini grease guns work good for this, because they're not good for much else. Pump a couple shots, every half hour of work until it...

GM 6.2l diesel Al radiator replacement

As far as I can tell, an OAT, or HOAT or NOAT is best for aluminum radiators, and the old SCA is still a good choice for copper radiators. To be safe, read the MSDS to be sure whatever you choose does not contain 2EH- 2ethylhexanoic acid on the possibility that engine contains silicone gaskets...

Recommended Equipment to Clear Land for Silvopasture Cattle Grazing

I get the lifestyle aspect of the project, I'd be doing it too if I could. It sounds like you have the system figured out, add fertility in the hay, cut some firewood and push some brush out of the way. I'm not sure how removing stumps adds value to the process, or what you'd do with the brush...

How does any of this possibly make sense for 15 highlands?

    Case580se fuel issue

Have you tried opening the fuel tank cap after shutting it off after running a while, to listen for vacuum?

This will be an interesting thread moving forward......

I hope there was a grease pump involved in that somehow. I can't imagine how you could do that with tubes. And he was a lube tech, so that should be one thing he knows. In his defense, I'm sure he was told that getting the loader out the door was the only priority.

    Deere 850 B no start.

I've never seen one with three stuck. or even two.

    Deere 850 B no start.

Why? you can see the rust, he said he pressure washed it. If it was bad fuel you'd get one plunger stuck that was up the whole time. This one has at least two stuck, so one was pushed up by the cam and still stuck, possibly all three stuck after being pushed up. After you get TPG's...

Need parts for 1969 Dynahoe Backhoe model 140 This time U Joint the whole unit

U joints on nearly anything, but most especially a dynahoe, are a universal part that you usually can find by measuring it up.

How hot is too hot, and what are you reading it with?

    Deere 850 B no start.

You can try a screwdriver in the spring and tap down on the side lightly. Maybe that's not allowed either? Might not be all three stuck, turn the engine over and see if any of the three go down on their own, and also get the engine where another plunger is lifted so you know none of those...

    Removing large bushings

You have two things going on with the angle iron. Heating the bushing in one spot to get it above the plastic limit makes it deform as the rest of the bushing is heated a little and expanded also, then it shrinks and comes loose easier when cool. No need to weld in a circle to do that, welding...

    99 pc200 lc6 over heating issue

Excavators are extra fun because the hydraulics can cause overheating even with the engine cooling system all in decent shape. Way too much going on to speculate, or maybe I'm just tired? Use a non contact thermometer to take the temps of the top and bottom of radiator, or the outlet from...
