    I have an '85 JCB 1400B. When raising boom and pulling dipper too hard simultaneously ,the boom stops rising till I reduce demand on dipper. Same thing if I open or close bucket while raising boom. Could this be some type of priority valve malfunction or dirty hydraulic filters ? Any...

    I got a maintenance manual for my 1400b. It only said JCB transmission fluid so I bought it from dealer and its expensive ! When I examined it it smells and looks like ordinary hydraulic oil and the can says 10w.im tempted to use that next time but i don't think ATF is the right stuff at all...

    I just looked at mine I think NASCAR3 is right. Mine goes to top of fuel tank right beside latch mechanism for the hood it slips on over a little fitting.
