    Torque specs for 216 with cat/perkins 3034

Thanks for all the info! On the pages for the crank it gives torque values for the 3011C, 3013C and 3024 engines but doesn't mention the 3034? just want to confirm the values are the same for the 3034. Also, do you have any info on the torques for the connecting rods and such?

Nylon pump flange on Cat 216

In the process of rebuilding the engine in my cat 216. I noticed that the flange that connects the flywheel to hydraulic pump is nylon. After some looking around here I see that many have changed theirs for an updated version. Mine looks in pristine condition, is there a reason to change it out...

    Removing engine from cat 216

I've got most everything done to remove the engine from my cat 216. The info I have shows removing the 2 bolts connecting the pump, but would it be better to remove the bolts from the flywheel cover? looks like a real pain to get the two bolts out as there is no way to get a ratchet on them. any...

Will the SG50 stump grinder work on my CAT 216?

I'm looking at a bobcat stump grinder SG50 that the seller assured me is standard flow. I'm going to be putting this on a CAT 216 with about 15 gpm of flow per the manual. When I looked at the implement there was a third hydrualic connection on the skid steer and seller said was a pressure...

    Muffler for CAT 216

I must be dense. I've gone to the CAT Classic parts page but don't see a section for skid steers or anywhere to put in my serial number.

    Looking at buying Takeuchi 26-2

I looked at one of the machines today, tracks had lots of tread left, were starting to get some cracks. Hyraulics sounde3d good and worked well with the exception of the aux. It would move out at what seemed like the appropriate speed but retracting took considerably longer, is this normal...

    Looking at buying Takeuchi 26-2

Thanks for the info. I'm not going to use this machine every day, maybe few hours on the weekends. Is there another machine I'd be better off with upkeep cost or otherwise? I suppose I don't really need tracks but would like the joystick controls. looking to spend around $12K.

    Looking at buying Takeuchi 26-2

I'm looking at a couple of different 26-2s both with less than 2000 hours. I'm looking for an all around machine, little grading, little digging, little clearing, etc. Any opinions of the 26-2? anything to look at specifically? Its easy to tell how much tread is left but how can I determine how...
