Is a WBM 250 Series coupler same as CAT coupler ?

You are not wrong but FAS is about as common as hens teeth these days. A few legacy customers left running it but some are floating around. FAS - Finning Attachment System. The buckets and/or coupler should then be Finning branded if it is FAS

Is a WBM 250 Series coupler same as CAT coupler ?

Yes assuming you have basic wedge lugged Cat buckets they should be 250 std WBM lugging in that size range (325D not 325F or NG as those are 200)

Cover the exhaust when transporting machine to protect turbo???

my 2 cents. - I would assume it is not that uncommon to stop on TDC because as the piston comes up to TDC compression stroke it is under max load and the point when the engine would want to stop turning resulting in the running mate being on valve overlap -A lot of the time on Cat equipment...

Anyone heard news or rumours on deere/wacker Neuson excavator models?

“John Deere, for its part, is moving in a new direction too. In June, Deere announced it was expanding its relationship with Wacker Neuson to include the development of excavators less than 5 metric tons, including battery electric excavators, that will be manufactured by Wacker Neuson...

    D8R new tracks

Hey Nicky, I get that one shoe does not fit all ! I’ve put non-Cat UC on Cats and lots of Cat UC on non-Cats ! As well Cat general duty D8 UC is about 50% the cost of HD. It is non-PPR but great value overall. D9-D11 Cat general duty UC is PPR.

    D8R new tracks

Just for fun I’ll throw out my recent example. D9T was 100% Cat UC for 45,000 hrs with no major issues. Customer decided it was time to shop and we did a test. Wood chip application. Low impact. Low abrasion. Mod/High moisture. Mod/high packing. Steep slope work and high speeds (an issue for...

    Loaders, Limbers and Roadbuilders.

Yup. Looks like a QS605. They found success and sold to Quadco years ago. Quadco is Quadco attachments , LogMax and Southstar. All owned by Komatsu last I heard.

    System one install

To cause UC wear you need 3 things. Contact, pressure and relative motion. When the track goes around the sprocket you have only 2-3 bushings (max) taking all the force pushing the tractor. Any relative motion (sprocket to bushing) will cause wear and this happens every-time in the cycle from...

    Cat 320d QC help

Do you have a wedge style QC ? Or pin grabber QC ? Does the breaker have a plate bolted to the top ? Make a cardboard cutout of your current bucket lugging, spacing etc and have a machine shop make a new top plate for the hammer with your lugging. Easy.

    System one install

If you’re just installing rails use the clamp master S1 master links. About 5 min with a 3lb hammer and your done. Zero specialty tooling required
