A slew of Out of Range High Service Codes on Startup Bobcat 873G

I resolved the issue with out of range errors on startup. They hydraulic pressure sensor was the easiest to trace back to its source. I followed it back to the main controller and knew from looking at the schematic that wire 3010 was on connector J1 pin F2. I pulled the J1 connector and...

A slew of Out of Range High Service Codes on Startup Bobcat 873G

TVA, thanks for the help. Any ideas where I might find the grounding stud for all these sensors or general location? I already cleaned up all of the main grounds off the battery. The battery is only 4 or 5 months old as well.

A slew of Out of Range High Service Codes on Startup Bobcat 873G

After a detailed look at the electrical schematic all of those sensors with out of range high share the same ground. They all go to wire 3010. Anyone have an idea where I might find it? For reference, the error codes correspond to: 01-17 Air Filter Plugged 04-21 Engine Oil Pressure (Out of...

A slew of Out of Range High Service Codes on Startup Bobcat 873G

Hi All, started the Bobcat 873G today to move some round bales and received the following error codes: 01-17 04-21 05-21 07-21 08-21 09-21 The -21 suffix is Out of Range High (Above detectable range of sensor). Obviously, codes 07-21, 08-21, and 09-21 couldn't have been Out of Range High...

    Actuator

Doug, they are not that hard to replace. Which model Bobcat do you have? I have an extra one in the shop. I'm in east of KC if you are not too far you could give it a try and if it works we could make a deal.

    Bobcat boom taper worn

I just did mine recently and highly recommend using a torch to cut the bushings out. The harden steel just kind of explodes and it is pretty easy to cut a line in them. Just be careful to keep moving so that you don't get into steel underneath the bushing. Once the line is cut the bushing...

Bobcat 873 Lower Tilt Cylinder Bushing Replacement

I went with the cutting torch and had them out in about 20 minutes. Welded the old bushing to the old pin and used it to drive in the new bushing. Worked very well. Thanks for the replies.

Bobcat 873 Lower Tilt Cylinder Bushing Replacement

I am considering replacing the lower tilt cylinder bushing on my 873. Can they be replaced without completely removing the tilt cylinder? If so, any recommendations on the best method to remove the old bushings with the cylinder still attached at the upper pivot?

    Bobcat S185 Hydraulic issues

I found this reference for PN# 6685157. Looks like it is a relief or check valve to me. It is part 44 circled in blue. Hope the picture comes through okay.
