    Building a Lake

From your description you say it won't turn left but when pushing the left pedal the machine basically stops. Is that correct? If your left clutch/brakes were not working the machine should just keep moving straight forward and not try to turn. Basically the right track should keep moving.

    Building a Lake

As MG84 said, anything over 150 ft it needs to be hauled. You mentioned the dirt is within 200 yds, if that is the case you need to be looking at a scraper in my opinion. With a scraper you can load, haul and compact the fill with one machine. Do you have a creek feeding your lake? If so how...

    TL150 TAKEUCHI SKIDSTEER WON'T START

I'm guessing you are not getting power to your fuel shut off solenoid or the solenoid itself is bad.

Drainage Question - Tile Vs. Ditch / Swale

From your pic it looks like tree roots might be the cause of your problem. They will plug a tile in a surprisingly short amount of time.

    Should I rent or buy?

How big are your stumps? In my neck of the woods I wouldn't want anything smaller than a D6 size machine to efficiently do any clearing. I can't even come close to renting that size machine for $4-5K a month here. If you can rent a D6 size machine for $4-5K for a month I would prob jump all...

Cummins Fined $1.6 Billion Over Allegations It Outfitted Dodge Rams With Software To Cheat Emissions

IDK...... Look up Toyotas 'water engine'. Looks like they might be getting close to getting it figured out.

    PITA pond

My initial thoughts are that they didn't put a core trench in under the dam when they built it and the water is simply seeping under it. I have seen this happen too many times.

    Not-for-hire hauling of CTL's

Years ago I was sitting in the passenger seat of a local DOT's car. He was trying to decide which violations he was going to give me tickets for vs written warnings. He happened to mention that I wasn't long enough to 'bridge' the what ever weight I had on. To try to lighten the mood a little...

Strange, interesting and funny stories buying and selling equipment

I had an experience of 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' I had a cummins N14 engine that I wanted to sell 4 or 5 years ago. My son put it on FB Marketplace with pics and a video of it running IIRC he put a price of $8,000.00 firm. A couple days later a guy was coming from about 5 hours away...

Cost of Owning vs Renting vs Hauling equipment

Do you move your cat D6R with a dump truck and pintle trailer? I'm not implying that it's not legal but I have not seen it done. I feel like if I tried that around here the DOT would have me pulled over in very short order.

    Komatsu PC200- 7

I'm far from an expert but I have a PC200 LC-7 and have a little understanding of them. As far as your boom hydraulics that could be a number of things. As Entropy1 said manuals are a very good investment. For your tracking problem.... Does it speed up when you activate another function...

USDOT # and IFTA for non commercial use?

Years ago I loved hauling cattle across those southern states. In Alabama if I was under 85,000 lbs would just hand the scale master $25 and keep on truckin. IIRC we bought 30 day 'harvest permits' that let us go 84-85,000 lbs in mississippi and louisiana for a few dollars. Hell I wouldn't...
