Thanks you.....I have more to do....
Yesterday when I had it running I noticed the p/steering hoses were getting quite hot and I realized I didn't have a cooler.I also noticed that the brake pedal had been sucked down..I have a hydraboost (hyd booster) .Not sure if its hydra or hydro..internet calls it both...I found the brake pedal thing strange..
Today I installed a cooler in it that I had hanging around..Put some better hoses on and fired it up.It started instantly...Tried the power steering and I had nothing...Check hose routing and all is good...
Check brake pedal and it is still up...Remembering yesterdays problem I push the pedal down a bit and the power steering is trying to work..I think there is a valveing issue inside my booster..After a minute the pressure backed up and the pump reservoir was trying to empty itself(under pressure)...This is probably the heat is was feeling yesterday as I appear to be dead heading the pump..
I have not touched the pump or the box but I did have the booster apart.I just split the cases and replaced the end seals as it was leaking out of both ends..I have a spare booster that I was going to try and adapt to the Diamond T but its metric and the Grizzly one is Imperial.
Tomorrow I dig a little deeper.....
