Located In Bakersfield Calif. One trailer for most applications, one registration. Better than having 10 trailers & paying for all those DMV fees.

Ideal Rolloff Trailer. Dump Roll Off

This is the last one I built. 2 x 10k HD oil bath axles, 30k gooseneck hitch, 13hp electric start Honda engine, hydraulic cylinder winch reeving system with 5/8" cable, front hydraulic jack, led lights, backup reversing alarm. Also the trailer can haul & dump 12ft, 14ft & 16ft long beds/bins. Plus the frame width size is the same as a rolloff truck. Beds also go over the fenders, instead of between the fenders. Over 34yrs in the field.

Good looking trailers. I am considering selling my one ton dually to get a med duty hooklift truck, but could be a great option to keep the pick up and eventually add on a med duty rolloff truck or hooklift truck. This would be a good way to keep my truck for personal use as well. Do you fab the containers as well and if so could you do containers that are setup for cable and hook?

Yes, we fab containers too. These rolloff trailers have a standard rolloff truck width frame. So a standard box container would fit. As long it is the same length.

Roll Dump trailer

Thats what happens. People go for the best price. You get what you paid for. You pay now or pay later to keep fixing it. Most builders use dump trailer frames & convert them to rolloffs with electric winches. The concept is there, but not the structure. I have been in the industry approx 35yrs & build these, like I am building for myself. Not in the door & out the door. Sometimes you look at the welds on other trailers, thinking I could chew bubble gum & use it, & would stick better.

A friend of mine asked me about purchasing a dump trailer, and I do not know enough information about them to answer questions and help out. Does anybody have any suggestions about things to look for in a dump trailer? I know he is looking for good quality that will last a lifetime. Thanks for any advice!

Yes. You can build, haul & dump all sorts or containers or beds. As long it is compatible to the frame length off the rolloff frame. 5th2.jpg5th5.jpg12ft orangebox.jpg16ft roll3.jpg

Rolloff Trailers Winches

A lot of people have called that they have purchased other builders rolloff trailers with a small electric winch setup that has fallen apart. They are okay if you use them once in a while, but not for a day in day out application, such as picking up 4-6 dumpsters in a day. That is why rolloff trucks go with a hydraulic winch cylinder reeving setup. You are not going to get enough charge from your vehicle to charge the batteries on the trailer. Especially if the trailer has been sitting awhile with no use. Also the electric winch cables have to wrap around a small spool or drum, the cable overlaps, gets squashed, plus the cable will have a spiral or memory when you pull the cable out to the dumpster or bed. Reeving systems keep the cable straight. Sometimes I see the cables last up to 10 years on this system.

Rolloff Trailer

Alot of customers have been calling why I dont use a electric over hydraulic pump setup. They are only approx 1gpm verses a wet kit setup with a aux engine running at 4 - 7gpm.

The 20 footer looks really nice. What kind weigh carrying capacity does it have with say a 15 yard container? My brother uses a GMC 4500 series truck with a Stellar hooklift. The biggest problem is that the truck is nearing its gross weight rating with an empty can on board. A trailer like this would allow me to use his cans and deliver for him when he is in a time crunch. Pretty interesting......

Hi. It depends on the axle & tire ratings. The 20ft GN trailer pictured has 12k axles. Trailer also has 5" bore hydraulic cylinders on the hoist & the winch, with 3/4" winch cable. 10" tube frame. It weighed approx 7,600lbs empty. A 20ft x 4ft sides with 12ga box is 26.7yds weighs approx 3,800lbs. = 11,400lbs box & trailer empty. So the payload would be approx 16,600lbs. If the trailer had 16k axles & 17.5 tire/rims payload would be 24,600lbs. If you put a 16ft x 4ft tall sides box on the 20ft trailer, it would be 17.8yds which would give 600lbs more of payload. A 16ft GN trailer with 10k axles weighs approx 5,800lbs with 4" bore hoist & winch cylinders & 5/8 cable. 8" tube frame. 16ft x 4ft tall sides with 12ga box is 17.8yds. Weighs approx 3,200lbs. Payload approx 15,000lbs. It depends on the box sizes & thickness on the floor/sides for empty weight. 16ft trailer can haul & dump a 12ft, 14ft & 16ft box. A 20ft trailer can haul & dump a 14ft, 16ft 18ft & 20ft size bin. Plus the bins go flat over the fenders, not between the fenders. These are gas engine driven hydraulics. You could also run a wet kit line setup from the vehicle you are pulling with, as long you have the oil reserve capacity.
