I have a mid-90's 753 that is resting peacefully on our access road unable to move. The nearest mechanic is about 1 1/2 hours away so I could use some help with a diagnosis (fuel pump?) and a fix.
There's no fuel in line and no amount of squeezing the bulb will produce anything but air out of the fuel filter bleeder valve. When I turn the key on I don't hear anything like a pump cycling, should I? Is there a fuse for the fuel pump and if so where is it? If the problem is with the fuel pump, where is it located and is the replacement difficult for a moderately handy person?
Thanks for the help!
