What is the story behind the 7/16”-27 NS-2 female thread many of these come with? I know they are also available with the standard 1/8 female pipe thread but many places that sell these also show this 7/16”-27 NS-2 female thread. Where does one find the 7/16”-27 NS-2 male thread to connect to these and why??

My Case w/ Allison trans calls for C2 trans fluid. Can I use C4 or will this eat my seals??
I'm asking about topping off w/ C4, so there will be a mix in the transmission. Is that a problem??
