posting pictures

how do you guys post pictures with just the picture when i do the img code on photobucket it just shows a link. can you guy's help me?

On some of the forums, the img tags work, and on some they're turned off. It's been that way since the board was set up, although I think Steve's intention was that they not be turned on in any of the forums.

This thread (http://www.heavyequipmentforums.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=2284) has instruction on how to post pics from your computer to here. We've recently added an automatic re-sizer, so that part has been made much simpler.

You need to save the picture you want to post to your computer, then download the saved file to the attachment manager here. We don't allow IMG posting here so we can control both the physical size, preventing the picture from being too big for the screen, and the file size which would slow page loading for our members with less than optimum internet service.
