Thanks to RonG!, he took time this morning to stop over with his Family (Charlene's a Doll and Kyle was a Blast, Great Kid!) and School me in "Backhoe Basics" for My 85 Case 580.
I was honestly Amazed how easy he made operating the Machine look :notworthy. The Backhoe operation was so smooth! I never thought it could perform half the manuvers he showed me. I had a smile on the whole time! Things that would take me half a day to get done took him 45min...No lie!
He gave me Tips on maintenance, etc.

Hopefully one day I'll be able to work the Machine half as good as Him!

You guys are welcome over anytime and We'll talk more real soon. :usa

Thanks again Ron AND HEF!

Thank you for the opportunity Eric.I have not run a 580 in several years and it was a pleasure to find one with very low hours on it.It was the tightest 580 I ever ran.Once you get the maintainance issues straightened out you will have a backhoe that anyone would be proud to call their own.You know of course what you need to do.
You have shown yourself to be a true gentleman who impressed us all.Thank you for allowing Kyle to sit in the cab with me,he was one happy five year old boy.
I have already digitized the video tape that she took yesterday, have to edit it today so it will fit on a CD and you are welcome of course to a copy of it whenever you like. She got just about everything that I did with the machine and might be fun for you to look at for reference.
Call me anytime you like and maybe I can be of assistance down the road as things develop.
Thanks to you as well Jeff,I was worried about you for a while there as I wasn't seeing any posts.Nice to know that you are alive and well.Ron G:usa

I've been lurking here for a while and decided I'd join. Its great to see how helpful everyone on the site is and I know I will learn a lot on the forum. I recently purchased a '99 John Deere 310E to do some work on a property I am developing so being a member of a community like this will be great.

Just going through some older posts, what a great story and gesture:) I daresay it sounded like a day enjoyed by all. Now the get Ron up here in the GWN on a TD18:D I know not one of your favoured machines and after 52 years you can forget the tight part:cool2

Great find in the 580.
