We had an operator on the job quite a while ago that had a Dodge Dart. It quit running, and sat on the site for about a month. The GC finally got fed up and told him it had to be gone by Monday morning. It was--he used a 955 Cat to crush it up and put it in the contractor's 30 yard trash dumpster. The people at the landfill were not amused...

How long ago was that?

Those Dart's are getting kinda spendy nowadays if the bodies are any good.

I looked at one this summer with a 340 and a 4 speed....$10k

I would've given it a good home if it weren't rusty.

That was awesome! In high school, we smashed a buddies old VW Rabbit with another buddies dad's 235 Cat hoe. We didnt get it quite that small, but it was sure fun!

Uuuh, yes - that would be a GT.
Most of them were straight 6 pos's - I am sure the one crushed by the loader was a pos.
