Currently own a Furukawa HCR-9E hydraulic drill. It's going to need major rebuilding or replacment depending on the work situation here next spring.Mostly drilling and blasting trench for watermain/sewer but will also do road work, bulk rock and anchor bolt installation.Drill mainly 2 3/4" diameter holes, but will sometime use 4" bit.Drill steel size is T-45 and the boom will allow 15' of rod, usually a five and ten foot rod coupled together.Need to be able to maintain this set-up as we drill anywhere from five to forty feet in depth.Would like to use a 325 Cat excavator for the carrier.Compressor, dust collector self contained on carrier unit. The working range of the carrier, with the Cat quick connect so the bucket could be re-installed if need be make this set-up appealing for the work we do.
