Embedding Videos?

Could it be possible to allow the use of embed codes for videos like the ones that many members put up on youtube? I don't really know how it works or if it would overload the website's bandwith.
A few other forums allow videos and it is really nice, you just click the window and it loads and plays.

I have been thinking the same thing. I am not that fussed about putting video clips on Youtube, but I would put them on here if the facility was available, or would that just create a logistical nightmare?

I'm not a computer wiz, but I've believe those embedding codes are HTML. I was told by the tech that originally set us up here that allowing HTML codes could leave us exposed to the possibility of hacking. Until I learn different, just post the URL to the video you want to show.
