In the kit for a Helac PowerTilt, what is the purpose of those grease reliefs and port covers? What do you suppose is the pressure rating of those grease reliefs?
Thanks.
The reliefs are there to protect the seals from over pressuring. A gease gun can make up to or more than 10,000 Psi. If you don't install these reliefs you stand the chance of seal damage. You have two reliefs and two grease fittings. Both grease fittings should be on one side (top & bottom) and the refiefs should be on the other side (top & bottom). The kit is a nice kit to rebulid your unit with use all the new parts. Power tilt is a great product and very willing to help on tech. advice.:usa

We just received a helac power-tilt from one of our other jobs. It came with no hoses and only 3 plugs. It appears that one side of the unit is metric while the other is standard. Is this the case? I've always seen these set up with thw hoses coming out opposite sides of the knuckle.
We found that we had to re-weld the ports as they were leaking at the welds. Must 've been why it was scrapped for hoses and parts before being sent our way.
Do they still make the quick release model for easy swapping of the buckets?
