Hey guys, I made a video of us making haylage (feed) for our feedlot. It has all the steps from a to z to give you all an idea of what your beef eats and how it is made.
Hope you enjoy.
If you have any questions please ask them.

Just wondering what your haylage is? Just regular hay or? And how do you like that New Holland? I love mine, my father in law is a big john deer man and I give him a hard time alot!

No one chops hay here, it all gets baled. The move has been to large round bales or huge rectangle bales the past couple years instead of the small rectangles that were traditional. It's getting tougher to find the small square bales that can be handled by hand for my landscape business.
Most of the field corn gets chopped around here, although some gets picked.
