slew motor oil??

Hey all.
What sort of oil goes in slew motors and do you add it down the hole where the dip stick goes? please excuse my ignorance its my first excavator [just for our farm]--only had it a week and it is an ex quarry machine with a lot of hours.

On my Terex Atlas duck it takes gear oil same as my axles and hubs LS80w-90
and yes mine fills down the dipstick hole.
What sort of machine is it, it might make a difference.
