Hello,

Every year we try and tile some part of our farm to improve the drainage and therefore increase yields. We are fortunate enough to have a top notch contractor in the area that you could not ask for a better job from. Their crew consists of a Bron 350, Cat 420D, New Holland TN80. These pics are from May 23-24th of 2007. We had about 20ac of a field tiled and 10ac re-tiled of a 45ac field. It is now a very nice field going from 3 small crooked fields to one long square one.

The rest of the equipment is ours prepping the land so we could plant the corn.

If you have any questions at all ask away.

Thanks for looking.

Warren

Here is a video I made of the machine working

I cleaned up the rest of the brush that was either taking to long to burn or not going to burn. With the TV-140

One of our guys used our old 8440 to offset disk the runs to start smoothing out the field. That can be a bit of a rough ride as this video will demonstrate.

Part of this field was a sandy soil, so filter tile had to be used. That is the white coating on the tile. It is a cloth that prevents the finer particles from entering the perforated pipe and clogging it.

Any time you tile in this area you had better be prepared to pick some big stones. There was one that the back hoe couldn't push once it dug it out. That was fun getting off the field. I didn't have my camera with me that day though.
