This isn't strickly a mill but the teeth that do the business are the same, its just a very narrow version :D Its a rock saw and was used to cut the tarmac covered concrete of the motorway both sides of the trench that was to be dug for drainage.
The slots were topped off with temp tarmac until a few nights later when the drainage was done during another lane closure.

That is a Vermeer wheel at least thats what we call it here my cousin has one in his fleet.

we have a cutting wheel for a skidsteer like that, we call it a pizza wheel :beatsme:D

That is a Vermeer wheel at least thats what we call it here my cousin has one in his fleet.

Could well be a Vermeer machine Nac, although thier web site mentions a Tesmec machine but that could be another machine.

hold on....no chain, belts or cogs? ive never seen it like that before.

call them cut off saws but the blades can be changed around to watever you wana do with it.
and is that disc in the middle of the wheel....seperate???:eek:

It has me scratching my head, and I was watching him use it.
The centre wheel is fixed and the cutting wheel driven around it some how.
It is hydraulically driven from a power pack but I suspect other forms of power are probably available.
