Hi All!!
good to be back at the forums again...
I was wondering if anyone from the U.S. could tell me about what if any permits are needed for highway transportation of a Caterpiller 953B. what is the going rate for trucking per mile and if possible is there anything else I should know about? IE: Insurance?
My Heart is set on my first track loader to be a 953 B and so any info in regards to these matters as pertains to this model loader is appreciated greatly!!!!:usa

no problem 953 is under 8"6 wide .not sure how much a mile depends on where its going and comming from, or if some one can get a back haul u mite get lucky.the more time u have to transport the more time someone can look for a back haul.

I understand about the back haul and etc.
thanks for the info.... as far as GVW. what is the limit that most flatbeds can haul?
would't want overweight tickets for the driver or anyone else for that matter.......
I'm just not all that familiar with trucking regs and etc.

If your getting it moved, the trucking company will look after everything. Its a no sweat move on a triaxle trailer. No permits required.
