i just got a 931 to use around the farm for cleaning up. problem is the steering clutchs are stuck . what is a good way to free them up? have been spraying kerosene on them to hopefully free them up. plus where can you get a service manual for this machine.

I'm new to the group and I have been looking at the Cat 931 series for use on my farm working in the woods and doing some erosion control work, etc. Our property is heavily rolling. I'm also looking at older Deere's (450C) and Case (455C and even 855c). I'm trying to keep my expense under $20K.

Thoughts? opinions?

Thanks

I'm also looking at a 931...are these good machines? Don't see too many people with questions or problems with them on the forum. Is there any thing I should be looking for when I see the machine? Any input would be great.
