This thread will contain tutorials on some of the forum functions available here at Heavy Equipment Forums. I'm taking suggestions out of the "Questions on Forum Functions" (http://www.heavyequipmentforums.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=5354) thread and doing tutorials on them here.

For the sake of clarity, this thread will remain locked so that the tutorials will be easy to navigate. If you have a question or feedback, please express them in the "Questions on Forums Functions" thread.

This tutorial will explain how to insert text between pictures you have attached to your post.

First, you will need to upload the pictures into your post as follows. On the reply screen, click the 12396 "ATTACHMENT" button located in the toolbar at the top of the reply screen. This will take you to the "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS" screen. Click the "BROWSE" button and upload your pictures. When finished, close that window.

Now, click the "ATTACHMENT" button again and a little menu will drop down listing the attachments you have uploaded. Click "INSERT ALL" at the bottom of the menu. This will put "ATTACHMENT TAGS" in your reply. There will 2 tags for each picture you've uploaded. These tags must remain intact for this to work correctly. You will have something like this on the reply screen:

[ATTACH]12396[ATTACH]

[ATTACH]12396[ATTACH]

The number of attachment tags will depend on the number of pictures you have uploaded. You can now enter your text between each set of attachment tags like this:

Your text here.

Your text here.

[ATTACH]12396[ATTACH]

Your text here.

[ATTACH]12396[ATTACH]

Your text here.

[ATTACH]12396[ATTACH]

When you hit the "SUBMIT REPLY" button, the attachment tags will turn into your pictures and the text you entered will be between its respective picture.
