Hello fellow lowboy owner / ops

While making you runs in the south and southeast , I would appreciate your help in trying to locate my stolen KW T-900 and Fontaine 3 axle detach that was stolen from Kiln, MS.. Though the truck is more than likely pieces now, it
was a silver 98 KW T-900 with red striping. Alum's , Head-ache rach , Light bar on top with side strobes, Floodlghts on side and to rear of HA rack.
Lowboy is a Fontaine , 3 axle , Mech. detach. ,24 ' well w/ OR's , red when stolen. I had just completed plating tailboard with polished alum. checker plate and installing oval tail lights . 3 on each side ( 2 red / 1 amber ) turned at about 30 degrees. ( unique ) Trailer had new oak decking. 3rd d-ring from front ,drivers side is partially torn from side from too much pull. Air lines and trailer plug at neck were on side , rather than in the middle of the neck. It had 8 marker lights down each side and DOT reflect. tape.
I believe my trailer to be in the Florida panhandle area or possibly around Gulfport.
Should you see one with the unique features I described, I'd appreciate a call.
I'd like to speak with the driver pulling it. Just need a tag # or name of truck pulling it. Taken by pro storm clean up guy's .Thanks and be careful.

I have heard a few horror stories like yours. I hope that you find yours someday. Locally a lowboy was stolen on the same night that the John Derre dealer had a dozer and a few minis and attachments. We spotted the truck the next day empty but it vanished by the time we got turned around on the freeway. It was found 2 days later abandond and with minor damage from someone sideloading the machines on it. I hope you are able to recover yours or replace them.

LOJACK has been VERY effective locally on heavy machinery and trucks. I know the local equipment dealers have recovered several machines with it and say that the thiefs are now either in jail or leave them alone since theft is almost nonexistant now. You might look into having a LOJACK system installed on your next truck. :cool2

Here's a true story of justice.
Around 1970 some thieves stole a D8H from a railway construction site in central Queensland, Australia. The dozer was sent to a large property in another state where it was used alongside a similar D8H which was legitimately owned. Spare parts orders were simple as the owner of the property used the serial# of the legit dozer.
They came unstuck when a new property hand had to order parts for the stolen D8 and quoted the genuine serial# over the phone.
The police arrived instead of the spare parts!!!!!!!!
