This kind of stuff makes me questions on how people can justify their actions. It makes me feel sick to look at.

yea i've seen them too, i think on this site and others. the poster is never the one who took the pics , everyone seems to get them for a friend. the only part of the story that is the same in all the post i've read with those pics is its in canada, some people clame it was a employee others say kids did it. which ever way its was unneccessary:IMO

I wonder what the Link Belt was trying to accomplish with the dozer?!?!
Looked to me like the jacka** was trying to pry on the rear frame.

Hey, bobcat ron, you can use the word "jackass" here, without having to disguise it. However, to use words that are on the censored list, and to attempt to defeat that censoring feature by disguising them, as you just attempted to do, will get you slapped by a moderator. This isn't the first time you've done that.
Fair warning. :nono

That just makes me sick, hope the owner had everything insured for replacement value. Actually that's enough to make me hang it up

Definetly a rampaging maniac. Mentally ill for sure.
More and more jobs now are getting Security forces, to watch, over week ends and nights when equipment is idle.
Just never know when they are apt to strike.

No Wunder that the Oil cost 100$ pr berrel. they play and we pay. makes me sick.
I thought it was "environmentalists". They will do more harm to their precious "mother" that way than if they would have left them alone. I could start a thread on my dislike for "greenies" but i don't think the server could handle it!!!

i guess that is one reason the powers that be dont want us old red necks to have guns. TEXAS is the only state i know of that it is legal to use deadly force to protect property. i hope i am never in that spot because i dont really know what i would do.

Im thinking a disgrunteled employee whose paycheck bounced?! With that being said, I would love to come across someone doing something like that. I really wouldnt care if it was my own iron, my employers, or who evers. The person (or persons) responsible would be leaving with a limp to say the least!

It is these kind of people that need to be held liable to the fullest extent of the law. Just when he started this dozer up is when he should be liable for 10 years in jail or more. What if it got away from him and he jumped off and it ran into a house and killed someone. Youtube should be a good place for investigators to look at and go nail these kind of people.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmmqsjVvwOo&feature=related

Does anyone have info regarding the follow-up of this story? I live in Alberta, and can't find information anywhere. I'm really anxious to hear, "the rest of the story."

If your justice system is anything like it is here they will get a county bullet "8 months in jail" and be let go with some restitution to pay. Meanwhile they will get 3 squares and a cot, free medical care, free dental care, free TV and an accasional visitor who will drop off money for commissary so they can gamble and get fat.

I decided a long time ago it is far cheaper to pay someone to stay all night than come in to broke windows, spray paint etc. unless I know it's safe.

i'm sick to my stomach now. thats just absolutely disgusting to see happen to any type of equipment. i hope that they find the person or people who did that and have them drug out into the street and shot. sure hope that the owner had insurance if not then it would be a total loss.

Who ever owned that gear must have had it coming ... ..thats a hell of alot of agression there ....
I know guy's that hid equipment only to be found a week later over a bounced check ...but to do that ....the guy that own's it must have slept with somebody's wife or daughter to get slammed like that ...

but there are other ways of solving your personal problems besides destroying personal property and possibly putting others out of work. i just don't think that who ever did that didn't think about the consecuenses

It's terrible. But thank God that the person(s) did not come back with a gun and shoot anyone. Machines can be replaced, but people cannot.

The out of work scenario is only temporary ... if a person has been wronged on a level that would posses someone to do that ... thats a lifetime ..no one should have to deal with it ..it should be resolved ..and for the person or people ..it was ..and its probably over ...some one learned a lesson ? maybe?
Im not saying what was done is wrong or right ...... im just saying ...
no one wants to hear Sorry anymore they want results ...someone must pay ..... regardless of bravado and personal pride...or the lack of ....

I don't believe it.
I worked for Oryx Construction for years and that is our D85 in our pit up in Shanigan Lake. We've have had a lot of vandalism up there over the years and I always new it was these guys as I have talked to them many times. Now I have some proof. I'll be emailing this video to the owner. By the way that's Oryx's 450 in my avatar.
