no real column to place this, however, the new compact equipment magazine has a really nice write up about this site.. If your not familiar with that magazine, at each issue, they choose a web site that they feel valuable for all to see. CE's write up should show a increase in traffic here, or at least those that look..

if it wasn't so much typing, I would place it here verbatum... Can't scan articules anymore as I have Windows 2003 Enterprise server. Thought I was going somewhere until after the install, I find out there are no drivers that work for enterprise and server in general.. Good thing this 4500.00 operating system was given to me.. I know in the future, probably after XMAS, I will get XP pro, so I can at least use some of my equipment,

I never even heard of Enterprise, and I guess the software manufacturers didn't either? Sorry to hear about that. $4,500.00! Yikes!!

enterprise is a particulargroup within the "server" group from Microsoft. It is really sesigned for 50 or more computers (office environment) I had an old copy of Win 2000 that started giving me a lot of trouble,, On a visit to a friend in Boston, who is in many large computer groups, he had handed me this enterprise server 2003.. I did register it at set up and went single user, which loses the availability for multi computer station use.. My friend did think it was identical to win 2000 but, it isn't even close.. The cost is still on the carton of 4500.00, it was free to me... the other site is compactequipment.com
