If you are a member here you will surely enjoy this show I caught today. I had stopped and put the Weather Channel on to check the radar & forecast. And while waiting for the Local Forecast I flipped a little & landed on the History Channel at the beginning of a show on the engineers that made our efforts in WWII successful. They are doing a series called "Color of War" about WWII. This segment on the engineers is called "The Soldier's Soldier" & covered the Sea Bees & the Army Corps of Engineers efforts building the roads, air strips, beach heads, etc that got us to the enemies. Tons of vintage dozer, crane, grader, roller, excavator etc footage. I couldn't turn it off & my few minute break turned into the full hour of the segment. If you can catch that one it's worth it (well it seems like that whole series is worth it also).
