Hi!

I was going to watch some Family Guy clips on YouTube but I got caught in a terex movie. Then I saw that someone has uploaded three clips from the Spanish Discovery channel of The Silver Spade, Terex RH400 and the Komatsu D575A-3. Shame they are in Spanish but they are fun to watch, especially the dozer movie since they run over a car with one dozer, and completly crush a caravan with two dozers!

Hi, MetalDragonBoy.
If my memory serves me right, the number one spot went to a JCB backhoe/loader. One wonders how much JCB paid for that.

Of course, there would NEVER be any graft or corruption in such a program, would there? Or I am just becoming a little cynical in my fossilage.

The 575's blade is 11 feet high and 24 feet wide. If my memory serves me right.

so you have the best selling machine(JCB) in the world of the most common category of construction equipment(backhoes), why is that not fair?:beatsme

oh and here is a clip of the jcb being rated number one

Hi, Biggixxerjim.
The 'Kummagutsa' D575 dozer is commonly quoted as having a 69 cubic metre or 90 cu yd blade capacity - or to put it another way, about 7 to 8 tandem axle tipper loads - in one push. How does that compare with your garden spade and wheelbarrow?

Hope this helps.

Cool, but i've seen it on the english version on TV, the programme is called either 'Top Ten' or 'Ultimates: Diggers' in it they got JCB 3cx as #1, scrapers, bucket wheel excavatas and a whole lot more. look out for it.

Awww man, why'd they have to crush a Ford? At least the job trailer was pretty good! Now for the other vids...

Hi, Stretch.
There is a perfectly good reason for crushing a Ford instead of a better vehicle. JUNK.

What do the letters in the name, 'Ford', stand for if you turn the word back to front?

"Driver Returned On Foot"

LOL.

We had an old Ford just like that...it worked (near) perfectly for us for 14 years (except for the right-hand door handle which was taken off by a friend's Ford dump truck).

It can also stand for Found On Road Dead...thank God we didn't end up like that.

Hi, Netook.ca.
Welkum too there 4um.

Why so excited? It's just another dozer and a pretty well-worn one at that. Takes a LOTTA fuel to get a day's work out of it - if it lasts that long, needs almost a factory of spare parts to keep it going and an army of fitters for the same reason.

Yes, it is the biggest dozer ever to be built in a production run but a couple short of being the BIGGEST dozer ever built.

Happy drooling.
