My father in law just bought a used JD 310D from the city of Vallejo CA. Overall it seems to be in very good shape. No dents,broken glass,torn seats etc. My guess is this machine was used by a limited number of or maybe even one operator. There are some pins that need replacing but little else seems to need attention. We plan to change all fluids,filters and grease everything some bucket to bucket so we know where we are starting at. I am not familiar with this particular machine and don't have alot of experience with any hoe really. Is there anything I should be aware of to keep an eye to maintain this machine well? The front bucket does not seem to have a float position, is that possible? Thanks in advance Steve.
