Is it bladeless because something broke?

Or does it not circle around enough to meet transportation width regulations? I'm curious as well. Big machine, that's for sure.

You know if I was ever to leave New Brunswick for Alberta it wouldn't be for the money, it would be for the BIG machines, when I see pics of 24Ms, D11Rs, 994s, and 797s it is very tempting.:yup

Do some more reading around this site as it's already come up a few times .
As mentioned in previous threads , do your homework before you come or you may find it a waste of your money . There has been a slow down in drilling in the last 4-5 weeks and most of the ' big boys ' have forecasted a slowdown compared to the last few years . Unfortunately ,what this means is that there will be fewer jobs and more people arriving daily to fill positions not really there .
Before I go further , what are your qualifications ? What level of experience do you have ? What type of job are you looking for ? Do you have any tickets such as first aid or Whimis ? Do you belong to a union ( for operators out here its Local 955 ) ? Clean abstract ? Can you pass a pee test ?

I too have often wished someone would open a ammusemnt park just for operators that would allow for just this type of thing .:thumbsup

It would be really nice if he (Bozo) would reply to let us know that it wasn't him.

Not wanting to highjack this thread , but you're in luck , or anyone looking to play with the big toys . Looks like Syncrude is looking for operators .....
http://syncrude.taleo.net/servlets/CareerSection?art_ip_action=FlowDispatcher&flowTypeNo=13&pageSeq=2&reqNo=27383&art_servlet_language=en&csNo=2&JServSessionIdsyncrude=10wjd2264w63wjf22.RJS3943_3 944#topOfCsPage
you can even apply on-line . Be careful though , the grass isn't always greener on the other side . And sometimes if it seems greener it's just that there's more fertilizer ( cow dung ) on it . :bouncegri

I am really sorry to hear that. We chatted a few times by PM and he seemed to enjoy life so much, and had such a passion for the big toys.
My condolences to his family.
