I was wondering if anybody knew if these attachments were any good or not. The Gorilla grapple and the timberline tree sheers made by Sidney manufacturiong. The grapple is said to have 39000psi of clamping force at the tines for breaking concreate. The sheers a rated to cut a 14in hard wood tree and the rotate 110 degrees.

Ran a Sidney Timberline for a day a couple months ago clearing a patch for a new building. Quite an awesome shear actually. The cutters are quite powerful and we were cutting 10-14" trees without any problems. The will always fall to the left the way the shear is set up, and the rotator allows you to cut the tree once it has fallen pretty quickly. Only had to take second bites a couple of times on some very large stumps that were tapered at ground level.
The only problem we encountered that day was getting the cut trees cleared as they were coming down as fast as we could reposition.
