Yes from Subic Bay to Mindinao,Manila to Panay, Manila to Boracay and Manila to Indonesia. All went on LCT's except to Indonesia and it was on a ship. With an LCT if you have a beach you won't need any special equipment to get it offloaded.

The landing craft is nice but you can only put 40 tons on the one that the guy has here. I have deep water access and can load barges on my end and at the island I would need a ramp to get off the barge. With a barge I can haul much more weight at a time.

Ok, I was thinking about a landing craft around 66 meters long and 12 meters wide with 2 Cummins 600 hp. engines. I don't remember the tonnage.

I found the landing craft you were talking about. It holds 60 tons. The only problem is its 65,000 per month with an operator and fuel. Seems kinda pricey.

I found a 100 ton barge that would work for me. How big of push boat would I need to get a 100 ton barge 6 miles out into the harbor?

Sorry, I don't know anything about barges, maybe the owner of the barge knows but I would think that would depend an the wave and wind conditions. I do know of a barge going down in heavy sea.

If your remaining within a harbor, whether it's 6 mile or 20, I don't see where heavy seas would be an issue, unless you picked a really bad Friday to move. If you found a barge that will work, your going to have to find a tow to move the barge. The company that you decide to get the tow from should be able to make the decision of what size tow is needed. All your necessary info should come from them.
