A friend of mine has a tree company & I had stopped over his place one day & found this cool thing sitting there.

Into your own big pile of lumber. I think he can do 1x1's through 8x8's. My friend is going to use it to frame the inside of his sheet metal barn to insulate it. To add to the heated concrete floor he recently poured. Its nice to go in there & fix stuff during plowing shifts ;)

Those Woodmizer mills are nice. I can't afford anyting like that, but I do make some of my own lumber with my chainsaw. Here is shot of what I did with a ceader tree that blew down last winter.

I saw a WoodMizer sawmill in action in 1992. Was so impressed my wife and I bought one:D

We sawed portable for 3 years before deciding to move inside where it's heated in the winter and cool in the summer.

Once inside we can saw 6 days a week. Rain, sleet, or dark of night does not slow us down:thumbsup
