I am thinking about trading tractors. I currently have a 3600 Ford. I would like to get something about that size (45 to 50 HP),4 wheel drive and with a
front end loader on it. I know that CaseIH and New Holland are the same company now. Are the tractors the same just different colors like Chevy vs
GMC trucks or are they different. :beatsmeIs there any advantages to one over the other. In my area there are about the same amount of dealers of each.

Mechanically speaking they are the same. Same engine, same tranny, same axles. But there are a lot of differences in the way they are operated. The cab layouts are completely different, I don't know if looks matter to you but different sheet metal.
I would look at price, if one is much better than go with it, if they are the same which I can almost bet they will be I'd get a demo of each and find which glove fits better.

Yep, that about sums it up, essentially the same product.
Its down to whether you like red or blue colour, which dealer gives the best price and support and which one is most reasonably priced for labour and parts.

IMO in that size the NH would have a better resale just because there is alot more NH around here then Case
But maybe that is just this area

The only other difference not listed is the supersteer axle on some NH models. This allows the front axle to pivot as you turn to reduce turning radius. Last I heard it is only on NH.
The "Boomer" / CaseIH compacts up to 50Hp I had read were made by Japanese company (Shibaura?) and assembled here in the states. This was a few years ago and my have changed.
