we have 2 brand new hyundai 140 lc7's at work, they seem like a great machine, very fast and smooth, very comfortable, its even got a neat little digital screen for rpm's fuel water temp oil temp, etc. There is a ton of space for working on them too, which is nice compared to the hitachi's im used to. Anyone else running hyundai?

i have a 210 LC-7 we bought last spring, totally love it, always ran deeres, but the price differential didn't justify it this time, both dealers brought machines up for us on a 3 day "try and buy"....if the hyundai is short in any item, it won't lift like our older 690E deere does, but then again, the hydraulics have been "tweeked" on that machine too. this has the 5.9 cummins, and is a little hard on fuel for my liking compared to the hitachi we traded in, that had an isuzu in it....but overall, the way it sits, the visibility, servicability, and the dealer has us convinced it was a great buy!

Ive spent most of my time in 120 size excavators so this is a little bit of a step up in size. I do mostly all residential digging for foundations, backfilling, grading, clearing, site prep so this size machine is about perfect. I'm really liking this machine.

Anyone else from this forum ran a 140? It can be a bouncy SOB if you're not careful, although ours has a blade on it and with the blade down it takes care of most of that. I still cant believe the difference between the 140 and the 160, its like night and day. It will dig twice as much, twice as fast, and its twice as smooth. its not all that much bigger.

I've ran across and low hour 140 at a fare price. Has anyone had any trouble with these machines? I'm not real hard on my equipment about 100 to 200 hrs a month. Anyone got any new feed back on the Hyundai.
