whoops, i forgot the pic of the protected tree. we even built a fence around it to keep it safe.

i posted the pics of the excavator loading the cut up trees with the protected tree sign in the pic as a joke, i thought some one would have a go at me for taking out the protected tree, no one did so then i posted the pic of the protected tree, it is nothing special, an ironbark,they are not generally protected, i was just one of the trees the developer saved in that subdivision.

there's a guy building a dressage arena down the road.

the entire 5ac site is fully fenced with post and rail fencing. the place is subdivided into a few paddocks, again all post and rail.

the arena is in one paddock, part of the council's building approval required the contractor to fence off (again) a bunch of shrubs in another paddock... :Banghead

at no stage does the contractor even need to go into this separate paddock.

talk about red tape and how to make a 'simple' job an absolute joke.

Well, I missed this one the first time around.

Love the tree muncher behind the protected tree fencing. Kind of like having your hand in the cookie jar!
